Hey, can anyone recommend sites, tools, or communities that help with:

  • identifying pornstars by face
  • finding original sources for short NSFW clips (reverse video/image search or databases)
  • tagging/classifying hentai images (character IDs, series, or metadata)
  • any other useful resources for NSFW research

    This browser extension is what works for me: https://github.com/dessant/search-by-image. You can configure the search engines you can use and it has a lot of ones for stock images, brands, and other things. Several of them are anime based, but I haven’t used them (trace.moe, sauceNAO, IQDB, etc.)

    I normally only use google, yandex, lenso.ai (sometimes I can get hints from there), and tineye. I’m trying out depositphotos and reddit repost sleuth but they don’t seem to work that great so far.

    Then it’s sort of a process of running a search, writing down any names that come up or from dead links, and going through the results until you hopefully find the source. Some times I will re-search with just the names as a text search once I think I’ve found who it is.
