What’s something about sex you think is pointless or overrated?
I’ll start with shower sex. Showers are great for foreplay, or for aftercare, but actual sex in the shower? I’m not a massive fan
How about you?

Onlyfans has gotten out of hand. Generally I have nothing against camgirls or even prostitution. You want to profit from degeneracy, more power to you. But Onlyfans has reached a point where it has completely changed the landscape of short and long-form content on mostly SFW platforms. It has reached the point where any field where women can present themselves in a positive and safe manner has been overtaken by balant self promotion of of Onlyfans content creators. Everything from comedy to music. It seems the meta is to dress in an ridiculously skimpy outfit and “e-girl/goth” makeup and put in the lowest effort to make provactive videos to farm engagement and funnel people to you NSFW content. The problem is that it completely dilutes and overshadows the actual effort women put into their passion.
Sure you can invest 1000s of dollars and 100s of hours to make a detailed cosplay, or you can put on a yellow microbikini and paint red circles on your cheeks and tell people you’re Pikachu and get 100x more views and an influx of paying customers. Why learn classic piano when you can play 4 chords on a guitar in a miniskirt? Why upload a well acted funny skit if you can read a single dad joke in a see-through dress?
It has gotten so bad that whenever you see a woman trying to be mildly entertaining on the internet, you can just type in their name into Google and see her fully naked.
Is a viscous cycle of idiots paying for that content and women being incentivised to reach bigger and bigger audiences to outpace the emotional dept of being a NSFW content creator puts you in.
You want to jack of to goth mommies and instagram bimbos, then keep that shit of non-porn platforms.
Is it that OF has ruined content platforms? Or is it that the only way for people to make money by making content is by doing OF?
IMO there is a societal problem being reflected there.
Well the societal problem here is the monetary value we have placed on women’s bodies. Onlyfans is not the only valid content creation method but for some reason a woman showing her ass is deemed much more valuable than most other things she can do. The only way out of this is for naked women to become cheaper.
Well said.
I agree with your take but your error here is saying you’ve no problem with them “profiting off degeneracy”. It’s kinda like if you have crack dealers on street corners, there will be more drug users in your neighborhood. One thing leads to another, you see where I’m going? Now I don’t think the solution is to ban porn either but my hot take is that men are wired to need to have sex and porn is simply the most efficient way to monetise this instinct. Hookers didn’t really use to become millionaires the way of girls do, right? Also a funny thing is that onlyfans takes advantage of the social/romantic aspect of male to female interactions. I dunno but for me it’s hard to classify the onlyfans boom as anything else but exploiting vulnerable people. Men in general are having less sex than ever before and women are doing more porn type providing than ever, we could kill two birds with one stone here but obviously it’s easier said than done 🤷
Well said.
I dunno what to do about it, but I feel like there are multiple fundamental issues:
The algorithmic, engagement-optimized platforms juicing the “first stage” (the creator link to OF), for profit, with zero consequences.
OnlyFans itself, having their cake and eating it. To payment processors and the public, they get to pretend to be a SFW platform when they are clearly not.
A society/culture that covets influencers, encourages parasocial relationships, and is okay with stupendous levels of OF consumption.
An economy that funnels young people into this.
Trace all these issues, and a common root seems to be…
Big Tech platforms. Right?
Surprise, surprise.
