I mean, when you have a dev cycle that has to closely line up the games with merch and media, that doesn’t leave a lot of room for redesigns. It was only in the last generation that some Pokemon lile Charizard and Ho-Oh got SLIGHT redesigns, and now with Gen 10, Pikachu is getting its second redesign.
