Robot vacuums are like “robot” dishwashers. They’re helpful, but a huge percentage of the physical work remains.
I want a robot dishwasher that collects dirty dishes around the apartment, loads them, runs the cycle, puts away the clean dishes, and re-runs the still dirty dishes.
I want a robot maid that picks up all the stuff on the floor, puts it away, vacuums the floor without getting stuck on a chair, cleans the tops of throw rugs without moving them, empties its contents into the trash, and cleans the hair off its own axles.
no worries, i went through it too. like, when i moved in with my wife we didn’t have a dishwasher for the first time for me in like five years and it was An Adjustment.
I get your point. I’m not op, but it makes the task easier. It doesn’t eliminate it is their point. I get yours. That the manual sink washing is more of a chore and also more time sensitive. I too would like to never have to empty the dishwasher, which often has a whole days stuff, not just one meal. For families, this can be a bunch of stuff and neverending.
I do! I’ve done some DIY repairs on it several times. It’s a Roborock S5. I’ve had to replace the lidar motor and the charging station, but it’s still going strong.
I’ve had a robot vacuum since 2018, and it’s still going strong.
It’s easily in the top 5 of best purchases I’ve ever made
we got one a while ago, but our cats never rode it. waste of money

when’s the last time you didn’t have a dishwasher
22 years ago, why?
did you live by yourself or were you doing dishes for a family? because that makes a difference. i’m thinking you may have some recency bias
I was living with roommates, one of whom was absolutely terrible about doing her own dishes. But I still don’t get what your overall point is?
that having a dishwasher has made you forget.

So like, I remember when the power went out for long enough I forgot how long it was out. Pro tip, the best drying rack in the house is the dishwasher
The z70 can do all of that, no?
Do you still have the same robot vacuum from 2018? For me they break so often, Im on a third one since 2020.
