    The last comment isn’t wrong though. In the West, the mainstream media viewed by tankies as propaganda aren’t controlled by the state, and their biases come from other (often capitalist) interests, whereas in Russia, every single domestic media outlet is controlled by the state instructing them what can and cannot be said.

      Yeah it was acknowledging the conflict of interest in both state-owned and privately owned media, even saying the former can be more obvious.
