Punitive systems are literally the worst way of actually rehabilitating anyone. Good news is we have abundant science about effective ways to rehabilitate people back into society.

- Fascists need to repent and give us the health they stole from us
- Fascists need give us back our stolen food, and plant permacultures
- Fascists need to reparate all the land they stole and gift us free houses
- Fascists need to end election & voter frauds and actively participate in direct acts of labor

Tolerance is a Paradox. In order to build a tolerant society, we cannot tolerate the intolerant.
Death is not the only way to dis-tolerate fascists, and is also not the best way to prevent new fascists.

I think some of the other commenters have made some great points, but I mainly replied anything because your idea that society could function by tolerating the existence of fascists is foolishly optimistic and one doesn’t have to look very far into the past at all to see why.
If not death, then how do you propose ceasing their existence? Plenty of suggested re-education of various sort, which i have agreed with. If thats what you intend, we already agree. Others have suggested forms of incarceration, which i oppose as a prison abolitionist.
