Did she change her mind? Kind of looked like she was hanging on for dear life, and then willingly climbed back up with help, rather than resisting it.

At least do it in a place away from everyone else. She could have hit someone on the street or traumatized someone who witnessed her sudden stop.

It’s usually done under influence - not drugs, but the high of emotions, self-talk spiral, setting one’s mind to it, etc, to overcome the will to survive. A sudden shock can break it all down. And that kind of shock she had, and pain, and danger, would make one default to instincts and either climb out yourself or follow the command of others. She was probably unavailiable for a hour or two after it happened, still shaking and afraid of what happened and what did not.

“It was at that moment immediately after jumping from the bridge that I realised that all of the problems in my life that seemed so severe and so unsolvable were actually not so, apart from the fact that I had just jumped off of a bridge.”

I don’t remember where this quote is from, or if its fact or fiction.

It was said by someone who survived jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge.

I think it was in the documentary “The Bridge.”

Yep and completely negating that are the examples of people who lived, climbed back up and did it again. That’s why I don’t like this quote and that guy.
