The checklist app works better if you use it “backwards”. I have a big list that includes things I buy only occasionally, like paper towels, laundry detergent, condoms, toothpicks, body bags, etc. So, I put a check next to what I need to buy, and then turn the check off when I get it, so I can leave everything on the list.
