This year here, it was chocolate easter bunnies from Lindt, a more expensive, but quality brand. Their 200g bunny was priced at a whooping 7.99€ (the other sizes had similarly excessive prices) before easter, and they completely failed to sell. As in: from a full euro pallet display, only one or two bunnies were sold.
They are 50% off since easter, and about 10-15 have been sold this last week at the local supermarket. Out of hundreds on the display. Other locations show similar sales.
Looks like this is going to hurt. I don’t expect them to sell for 50% any time soon.
