This is misleading. Colorado doesn’t have a law restricting government contracts with companies boycotting Israel. It DOES have a law preventing the state pension from investing in companies that boycott Israel though.
This is probably more accurately a map of states with Anti-BDS laws supporting Israel.
Most anti-BDS laws have taken one of two forms: contract-focused laws requiring government contractors to promise that they are not boycotting Israel; and investment-focused laws, mandating public investment funds to avoid entities boycotting Israel.
That’s because it includes both of these in the category. The discrepancy is probably because the OP image slightly misrepresents what the map is saying.
Gov contract does not equal Investment? The Colorado law is specifically about their state pension called PERA ans how that pension is invested.
While I don’t support the law, it only restricts how that pension is invested. It has nothing to do with a companies ability to get a state contract for work.
I can’t tell if you’re joking… With the copy paste of your comment…
Anti-BDS law states are what the OP post seemingly shows. But the headline in OPs post doesn’t say that, it says government contracts, which is a more specific case of anti-bds law.

I’m non-US so I can’t comment one way or another about the facts, but the map at that link is identical.
That would seem to support his claim then.

Not to be confused with anti bdsm laws
That’s exactly what this is.
