Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, who is a leading Republican candidate for governor, has seized more than 650,000 ballots from last November’s election and is investigating whether they were fraudulently counted.
“This investigation is simple: Physically count the ballots and compare that result with the total votes recorded,” Bianco said at a news conference Friday.
The unusual probe drew a sharp rebuke from California Atty. Gen. Rob Bonta, who said in a statement Friday that it is “unprecedented in both scope and scale” and appears “not to be based on facts or evidence.”
“There is no indication, anywhere in the United States, of widespread voter fraud,” Bonta said. “Counts, recounts, hand counts, audits, and court cases all support this.”

Just the jerrymandering, voter suppression, intimidation, long lineups and inconvenience for certain polling stations, the email and web campaigns with wrong dates and locations, a precariat who can’t afford to take time off work to vote, a media landscape run by billionaires who misinform the masses via false narratives, cambridge analytica style shenanigans, foreign interference and kompromat operations, having your President in a clearly compromised position to Russia and Israel. Now you can add the ICE gestapo on the streets.
Yeah. Nothing to see here.
Those things are totally real and are how elections are actually stolen.
What they’re saying here is that people don’t steal elections by getting a ton of people to vote fraudulently.
Whew! I was worried for a moment.
So you’re both right. Because the unquoted section of your comment describes electoral fraud, not voter fraud.
It’s always projection with these people. Voter fraud in 3…2…
Well, yeah. Most of the (extremely uncommon) cases of actual voter fraud in the last decade or so have been from republican voters.
