fentanyl is now being cut with xylazine/tranq, a horse tranquilizer. it makes people OD like fentanyl but narcan does nothing.
the average person doesn’t eat much if any vegetables, leafy greens, or fruit, which fill up your stomach much more than meat or bread.

My local jail removed the library a decade ago. Regular inmates only have access to tablets for media, that they must pay for. Only people kept in the SHU/on punishment, who are denied their tablets, are given physical books, and the selection is trash. Like it’s a singular cart that is rolled around. If you have a contact with someone there, I would trust them, but if your area has a non-profit that works with the jail, you could get an unbiased take by talking to that person.
I know he likes Bruce Springsteen, but he’s not really a music person in general.

if a job requires pants, it’s not a suitable job for you.

It’s a luxury vacation destination. It’s amazing to visit but you’re going to pay for it. If you’re counting every $ spent, don’t go there.

Yes hiring a hitman is a crime. I met a single bed-bound person in jail, so it can happen. It’s really just extra tortuous, because they received no extra level of care over any other inmate in there that I saw. They weren’t given any accommodations to be able to socialize with others, go outside, a tablet, anything. They could probably get house arrest approved if they could afford the home care, but I’d guess it would come with extra requirements like not being allowed to associate with anyone in their gang.

The reason for the focus on the quickening was that it was how they determined whether the baby was alive. They didn’t have ultrasounds, so, until the baby kicked, they had no idea whether it was in fact a healthy baby. I know this because we studied it in crim. That’s what got California to update its murder statute from the common law definition.

The Catholic doctrine is that all people are born with a soul, and your soul is made in the image of God. In other words, your body has no importance, it is your soul that makes you god-like. In this vein, every person on earth is a child of God. It’s not an exclusive church. It’s a universal church. As a church, it does not claim to have all of the answers. If someone truly believes that God made them gay, that’s between them and God. It is not for us to judge other peoples’ sins but to love and support them as God’s children. I don’t think you can square abortion with the literal Catholic doctrine of souls though. You’d have to just not believe that. You can be pro-choice in the sense of “Women should be able to receive life-saving healthcare” but elective abortions does not square.

To be clear, the guys who voted against it in 2010 were literal 70 year old boomers who were raised in McCarthyism and scared of communism. Like actually cited that “it’s too communist” as a reason to vote against it.

it’s really terrible from an adult’s perspective. like frozen food dinners but worse, because it’s only for kids. but kids don’t actually know any better. they will actually look forward to some of it, even though as an adult you wouldn’t be able to enjoy it.
it’s not up to the kid though. it’s up to the parent. in the US both parents work, so if mom is too exhausted from work, you’re going to have to buy food.

Sounds like what you’re interested in is a social skills class for autism. I’ve heard of them in theory but have never seen any actually available to adults. My therapist suggested I try to find an autism specialist, but like, do those even exist??
As for your social interests, you’ll just have to go to public hobby groups and figure it out. The NTs also didn’t have a handbook. You’re interested in dance classes? Your local community center probably has some. It’s ok to make mistakes, correct, and do better next time. Find ways to connect with people. Life is not going to be like “Oh I learned and am normal now” for us. We just get better at it than before. Also, women are just people. You’ll get more comfortable around an individual the more time you spend with them.
I use green and brown pretty much interchangeably. They’re both more chewy and have a more defined taste. I think the green are a little more savory and the brown can be a little more peppery, but that may just depend on the stock you have access to. They’re good in long cooking stews or bolognese. I like the brown in lentil salad. Split lentils have a lighter taste and cook faster. Red split lentils are good for a quick soup, chili, or pancake/lentil omelet. You can always make a dal, dal is always amazing. I never regret dal.
