No, because I’d rather have all of them break ties with Israel. That would suit me. Reality however is different.

The fact Europe still hasn’t broken all ties with Israel over their human rights abuses tells me their supposed democratic values are more window dressing than anything.

Is Europe’s hostility towards China not a function of US hegemony? Surely there’s less reason to be hostile now.


I don’t think it’s ever been confirmed the strait was mined by Iran. We know China is allowed to pass through without a problem.
I see your point, but Europe is in this crisis more because they don’t have a robust energy sector of their own. That’s what explains their interests being captured by the US on that front, because before 2022 they relied on Russia for their oil and gas.
