I lived alone since i was 15. No complaints though, I loved it and partied all day :-)

As far as i remember, there weren’t restrictions. Could buy hundreds of games from e.g. Russia and be fine with it.
If you have great parents that you live with, who cares what others think and how old you are. Their narrow mind should be no concern for you. Be glad you have such parents…
As long as it stays healthy 😉
Hustle hustle, advance yourself and be productive. But don’t you dare to have more fun than work!
I stay up all night to game or have other kinds of fun. But still not tired because I just sleep as long as I want to. I must be a disappointment to our people 😁
I don’t buy the just-to-protect-us. Yes there was exploiting of regional price differences. They wanted to kill THAT. And they partially did. But if they can take advantage of being global, why can’t we? If not for greed. They could’ve introduced limits on gifts. Like, as an e.g. Russian, I can only gift one gift to one distinct non-russian a month or so. Would still not kill the gifting but eliminate the trading.
I liked hoarding gifts to either redeem some day or just gift away. Being in one of the expensive countries makes it easy now, but not the other way round, which is highly unfair.
True. Although I was so pissed at them when their greed made them dissapear the inventory-gifts. Loved buying shit on discounts only to maybe use it later. And so many other things.
But all in all they’re indeed doing more good than bad.
I’d say Valve. It’s a gant stinky US-bigtech that destroyed used games and owning of games, buuuut also transformed gaming into a a community and also made linux-gaming not only possible but absolutely great.
Without steam I’d be forced to boot back to fucking winblows just to game something. Thanks to them I don’t even have a winblows to boot to anymore, because it became 100% obsolete.
Hard to hate those guys…
I tried a handful different jobs but they all only were exciting for a week, then they bored me silly. Being self-employed lasted a while longer but became boring too.
Never tried again, that was almost 30yrs ago. No regerts. Traveling with wifey, music and videogames can surely fill a day too and are way more exciting. Still.
Maybe you never had the joy of loosing yourself in something that is really fun and forget time? And then it’s suddenly 5am…
Well, if you COULD sleep at work, great. Then why sleep at night at home ,-) I don’t work so luckily I don’t have to care about that.
But I would also help you if gamed all night and forgot time. A newborn would not be some special reason to grant help. Even less so, actually as you also decided to have one and also knew that it will basically eliminate your sparetime.
